My REAL PLAYER CONVERTER is gone! Can i download or update without losing all my music?

We thought our computers had a virus, so the computer techs came in and cleaned up our computers, and now my "REAL PLAYER CONVERTER " is gone. Real player is still there, and all my downloads. Im wondering if i just download the converter will it wipe out all my music, etc? Or will updating my Real Player lose my downloads? If not, where can i find "just" a download for the converter? Thanks in advance
