Can you give pepto bismol to a 2 year old?

I know the best answer to this question is: Call your doctor.... However, it's Sunday & I can't get a Dr today. My 2yo has stomach issues. He is getting over a stomach virus, but still having a little diarrhea and not eating well. I think his tummy is still hurting a little. (This all started last Tuesday). He seems like he is feeling great most of the time, but occasionally seems uncomfortable and isn't eating as normal. My husband insists I should give him pepto as he took it as a child. However, I want to consult the experts. :o) Any comments?
