Better video mixing software then windows movie maker?

Sorry, but there aren't any that you'll be able to use more than just a trial version of, which will rarely last longer than 30 days. There are a ton like iMove, Sony Vegas, Premiere, and Final Cut, but you'll have to pay for any of them.
