3 Authors dead that wrote "The War as We Saw It" contradicting Bush and Patreaus? Suspicious?

My first thought was friendly fire; but, considering how dangerous it is in general over there, it really could be a coincidence. This is going to be one of those things that gets questioned, but we'll never know the true answer.
