Where is the UN in Iraq? Where are peacekeepers? We don't need a solution, just the International Community.

A few months ago I saw on this website stars like Danny Glover part of a UK effort to stop hunger. Yet there are disasters everywhere, particularly in Iraq. Yet no stars no questions about this from people who have power. Why is it they can all talk about other issues but avoid this issue? I don't want to hear politics I can hear that at any corner store. Why isn't the UN prepared to send in troops? So what US started it, or maybe one thinks they are at fault? What about Somalia, problems in Ivory Coast, no one asks for who caused that, yet the UN or International forces are there. So we let it become the worst problem before we lift our heads, to do anything about it? Why? I ask you as suffering continues there is it ok to just shake your head and say, "well usa caused usa problem", when most of the starvation in Africa is caused by their own political problems? Or problems caused by forces we don't say our responsible, like colinization before WW2?
