ually frustrated guinea pig?

Last night I was watching my guinea pigs potter around and one of them started doing that slow, wiggle-dance, accompanied by a cooing sound. I think this is them saying they are ready to mate. They are both girls but the frisky one sidled up to the other, rubbed her cheek and then mounted her! Is this just spring fever?
